Building Relationships is at the Heart of What I Do
I entered the world of SEO copywriting in March 2011. For approximately two years, I wrote solely for sites that connected clients and writers while heavily monitoring their interactions. I enjoyed producing articles, blog posts, and other media for my anonymous clients, but something was missing. I never knew who I was working for or anything about their business. I delivered the assignment and that was it. I was certain there was a better way but didn't know how to find it.
In 2013, I published an eBook and found that I enjoyed interacting with real people who had read my work. This prompted me to research different ways to work with clients who need content written for their websites. I found new clients and I've never looked back.
The greatest joy in my professional career is forming mutually beneficial relationships with my clients. I love the feeling of exceeding their expectations and hearing that I'm the missing piece of the puzzle they searched so long to find. I recently wrote about my approach to client relationships for a website that provides a platform for professional writers and clients who need website content to connect. I encourage you to read it to gain a greater understanding of what you can expect from our writer-client relationship.
